Take a rickshaw ride around the old Chinese chophouses, visit Georgetown with its colonial buildings and many market stalls, or to escape the heat take an excursion up Penang Hill and enjoy the views across the island. On top of Penang Hill is also the Sri Mariamman Hindu temple.
